about
Song of the Inland Rain is a poem by Jack Sorenson, first put to music by Roger Montgomery. We thank Roger for his permission to record and distribute the song.
Ryan Tews (Drums, Keys, Vocals) arranged the song for the Hens and added a tune of his own at the end, which became the title track of the album. You can hear the quiet and the loud and the silent power of rain on the parched Australian landscape in this tune. As with his Photography and his visual arts, Tews has provided a work most evocative of nature and environment.

Alysia Manceau elegantly weaves her psychedelic balladry into a timeless landscape. Haunting vocals soar across layers of instrumentation in nine confessional songs of discovery, redemption and love. Mandy Connell

The lead singer of punk band Camp Cope ventures into romantic synth-pop territory, tempering slick arrangements with bare sentiment.
