A 12 track album recorded in 2009/2010 with Tom A Wright, in Newcastle, England.
Artwork was done by Rosie Hood, but the final draft was overlooked and the original pressing was made with the incorrect artwork, largely due to Connell's inexperience.
The album was made with instrumental contributions from Colin Nicholson (Black Market Tune) and Lucy Farrell, as well as Tom A Wright.

about
Originally recorded on Connell's 2007 album as the title track, this song is written about leaving the house in which (and about which) Persimmon Gold, Snakes and Ladders, and the 4am song were written. Shared with Liz and also with Sara, this gorgeous house was a happy home for a few years, and it was a sad leaving. The song talks about colour and texture, and how we associate memories with these things in a really Foucoult sort of way.
lyrics
Boxes beds and brooms, familiar things of womens' rooms
Textures and tints and traces of lives, '
That we leave for a while, and then leave behind
Its funny how so much goes to make a home
A thousand moments make it so
A thousand memories were made here
Til the walls became like souvenirs
Boxes beds and brooms, the only things left in this room
and though I have taken all the photographs down
I can still hear the echoes of the ups and downs
And I was so scared to go from here
A thousand worries held me back
But a glass of wine and a yellow moon,
Filled my head with thoughts of travelling soon
